When purchasing this product, it is first important to remember the following: It uses CLAMP STYLE PEX clamps, NO SMOOTH RINGS! A lot of people have complained that it's difficult to install, but it worked for me right away. The tool is well made and well packaged. I wish I could go ahead and give it 5 stars but here's the problem. There's a Home Depot in town, but a clip was missing and I ran to my local ACE gear to get more. BIG MISTAKE! Where HD offers the SharkBite brand clips, ACE offers the Zurn brand. They were too wide to fit in this tool! (I had to take one off to even get around.) THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH ZURN BRAND CLIPS! So if you know that and have another store nearby, this is a great product. . If you only have ACE gear, forget it man!
