I've been using HF drives for a long time and they worked, but I've tried a lot so I started looking. From what I've seen they last longer than HR and are on par with branded products and I've never had a break. I used them last night to cut 1/8" thick steel and they tore it apart as expected. I used them to cut 3/4" thick plates for the weight of my tractor and I went with every 18" cut through 1 disk. and killed a high frequency grinder. I don't understand the comments about disk thickness and "precise cuts". Plasma cutter, band saw, Dremel or cut-off saw with metal cutting disk. I'm much more worried about the disk falling apart , than that it is 0.12 thicker.
