My desk is a bit busy these days. I have both my work and personal laptops plugged in and prefer to use a full sized wired keyboard. Not wanting to have multiple keyboards on my desk and not finding viable options for KVM, I opted for an HDMI switch to quickly change which laptop is driving the monitor, and opted for a few USB ports within easy reach. Connecting a keyboard would be just as efficient as KVM ever was. Since one of the laptops is docked vertically behind a monitor and only has two USB ports, I figured it would be a good idea to get a USB hub that I could pull out of the computer and place within reach. no supercritical hub requirements other than USB 3.0 and power supply. The Revain USB hub is just the ticket. I can keep the center within reach. It can connect multiple devices and supports USB 3.0. so i can go The blue LED can be a little annoying in the dark, but almost all devices have LEDs these days. Overall I am happy with my purchase. It was a good price. It seems its solid construction. And it works like a USB hub.
