Doesn't work in flat gas tank (mower)
I have a pressure washer that had some water in the fuel tank and thought I'd try this one. This lifts some of the gas a little, but no higher, and directs it through the bend, which had to happen for the suction to start. I had to suck my mouth a little bit all the way to get it flowing and then he drained most of the gas from the tank. This tank was nearly full, and it was a large tank, not a small one like a standard lawnmower. very disappointed with it. I would return it but I don't think I can because it was used for petrol.
