Review on Wi-Fi router TP-LINK TL-MR6400, black by Takahara Hideo ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

The device was bought to organize video surveillance in the country and use the Internet along the way. Before buying, a consultant from the tp-link technical department explained by phone that they say he cannot guarantee that the router will transmit a signal over a distance of 50 m, since much depends on the properties of the client device, but vouches for 20 m. It turned out that this is not entirely true. The problem was solved with the tp-link RE-360 repeater. Do not confuse with 365!

Pros
  • Beautiful, almost no settings required - inserted a SIM card, answered a few questions - use it.
Cons
  • Several times a day I lost the Internet and needed an overload. The problem was solved by switching to another operator. On the advice of the support service, a v3 modification was purchased - this means that external antennas are designed to transmit a wifi signal and supposedly over a greater distance than other modifications. However, the range of wifi was ridiculously small. Here are the results of measuring signal strength using WiFi Analyzer: Dist. dBm 1m -52+-3 7m -55+-3 14m -73+-2 21m -75+-3 28m -88+-4 The signal passes through just one wall 1.5 cm wood - 15 cm insulation - 1.5 cm wood. At a distance of 28 m from the router, the ASUS ZenFone max client phone is not connected.
