I find it difficult to rate this Knitter's Pride product so low. At the beginning of my knitting experience I fell in love with this product line. I started collecting, knowing that eventually I would need needles of different sizes. The price for this set is right - the transaction went smoothly, I received it in the promised time. Having never had a problem with these cords they went into my spare stock just waiting to be used. They sat for a year. Got them a week and a half ago. To my great surprise, one of the size 15 needles would not thread onto the cable - the receiver was too big. I resolved some issues (e.g. grabbed a cable from my other TV) and found that it was indeed a faulty cable. Just in case, trying other needles seemed like a good idea. And now one of the 17 gauge needles doesn't fit in any cable, the hole is too small. From my point of view, it must be a manufacturing defect that somehow failed the quality test. So I went to the Knitter's Pride website only to find out that they only accept defective items through the yarn store they were purchased from. One might be surprised to know who is an authorized reseller and who is NOT. Given the time that has passed since purchase, we don't have a return window either. When you order this product, please check each part carefully before putting it away. Don't get stuck on a useless product like I did.
