I LOVE these replacement needles from Knitter's Pride Dreamz Chunky. I ordered a second set (I'm a multitasker ;-) ) because it was cheaper than just ordering a larger needle. The wood is smooth and knitting is quieter than metal needles. I have found that they are interchangeable with cables from another major brand, which made me very happy. They are strong and durable (so far). And who doesn't like "beautiful" knitting needles? They are beautiful and differentiated by the texture of the wood

US15 needles can be threaded, but the point at which the base of the needle touches the cable when fully threaded is outside of the line where it touches the cable.
