Hooks are not the right size.

I bought this hook set with the idea of making a handle later. When I received it I wanted to try it out to see how the stitching looked. I was working on a project with an H/8 hook that fits all the other H/8 hooks I have. The stitches of the new hook are not correct. The looper shank is too big. Since the stitches are based on the shank and not the hook itself, the hooks are not dimensionally accurate.
