Review on 🌬️ Nordic Pure 14X20X1 Pleated Air Filter - Superior Performance and Durability by James Crofton

As promised , ext. Pleats provide more surface area and less airflow restriction. Our air intakes are small for the amount of air the system moves, so I found we couldn't use some of the more restrictive designs. People should be aware of the strange things about filter sizes. Do you know that 2x4 lumber isn't really 2 by 4 inches? It's not, but at least it's consistent from one provider to another. Not so with filters. Some brands are 1/4" under label size, some are 3/8" smaller and some are 1/2". Use masking tape to ensure no air leaks. I don't know of any other brand with the MiniPleat function and a larger size but I will check before our next replacement cycle.By the way, the filters came in a Nordic Pure box but were unwrapped and unlabeled.I'm glad I don't have plastic packaging but it's a bit odd that there is no brand name on the filter itself.
