I have installed this unit with SmartThings and multiple water/humidity sensors in various locations around my home. This allowed me to set the device to automatically turn off the water throughout the house if a leak was detected on any of the various sensors. It was installed for about two months and I had no problems. I tested it this weekend and it also worked perfectly. I state that I originally ordered a size too big for my pipe, the 1" version. I bought a new house and wasn't sure about the size of the pipe coming from the mains. My plumber however, put on the proper fittings to adapt the 1" pipe to the 3/4" pipe in my house.
