Received these in early March 2019 but was unable to install them immediately. A professional plumber came and installed it for me first thing in June 2019 (it costs A LOT to install in plumbing). One side of the valve has imperfect threads, giving the plumber a hell of a time to properly screw in the fitting, which is pressure inserted into the PVC pipe. Bought the 3/4 inch version about a year ago. I mounted the controller on the wall and installed the valve on the PVC pipes. There is city water. The valve lost signal to the controller once or twice in its lifetime, then the third time the valve would not open or respond to manually pressing the open button on the controller. It's only been a few days but so far I'm really liking the quality of the valve/regulator and the ease of installation. I used two 3/4" MNPT to 3/4" Copper Shark Bite Fittings to install it and installation was a breeze.
