Bought the 3/4 inch version about a year ago. I mounted the controller on the wall and installed the valve on the PVC pipes. There is city water. The valve lost signal to the controller once or twice in its lifetime, then the third time the valve would not open or respond to manually pressing the open button on the controller. The water was shut off and the valve could not be opened with the button on the controller. Therefore, follow the instructions on the website to manually open the valve using the manual pop-up control on the valve itself. Pulled the valve out but he didn't turn on the valve mechanism, it seemed stripped so he couldn't open the valve manually. I had to shut off the valve to bring water into the house. The valve is in a box on the floor waiting for an RMA number directly from the manufacturer. Called and spoke to "Wayne" who was very nice and assured me that a new valve would be on the way soon and when I received it I just put the old valve in the box and sent it back. This conversation was in early October 2018, it's almost 2019 now and they still haven't sent me a replacement valve. Sent many emails, called 3 times, no answer. The valve worked great when it worked but now it sits alone in the box waiting to be returned. I think that's why they have a 10 year warranty because it takes 10 years to replace a new valve if the old one fails. upset.
