Review on 💧 Leak Intel Z-Wave Plus Water Control Valve - 1 Inch, NSF Certified, Made in USA, 10-Year Warranty by Miguel Yurco

Received these in early March 2019 but was unable to install them immediately. A professional plumber came and installed it for me first thing in June 2019 (it costs A LOT to install in plumbing). One side of the valve has imperfect threads, giving the plumber a hell of a time to properly screw in the fitting, which is pressure inserted into the PVC pipe. After a lot of effort, using teflon tape, and following (and beyond) local regulations, the fitting is still leaking. It's been 24 hours since then and there has been a leak - at the moment it doesn't matter, but the simple fact that there is a leak is a major concern. After spending so much money on this valve and installation I lost about $500. At this point, Revain has informed me that my return and support period for this product has expired, leaving me in a very frustrating situation. Incidentally, HomeSeer sells the exact same setup, but they refer to the same mechanism as their own and don't answer questions about whether it's the exact same mechanism. So I doubt this is made in the USA. Most likely China, where various "brands" are stamped on it and sold at a hefty price.
