After the dir-300 and two kinetics, there is finally some calm: the device functions normally and does not demand any attention from the user. Wouldn't want to put a damper on things. Got pros: Stability. I really hope that I won't have to worry about this router again and that I won't have to touch it again, provided that all of the conditions are met. By itself, this benefit more than compensates for any potential drawbacks. Negatives: It's a bit sluggish by today's standards. After Kinetics, there is a discernible slowdown in the speed. It is not possible to copy the poppy on the network card when using the default firmware. Only by flashing the dd-vrt firmware will you be able to change the hard-coded MAC address that is contained within it. (At least, I was unable to locate this possibility within the default firmware.)
