Not too impressed - Poorly packaged and cumbersome

Love that these horns are adjustable. And they seem to be durable. If you ever plan to use a sawhorse anywhere other than your flat driveway or garage, you'll likely appreciate its ability to adapt to uneven terrain. However, I have a few concerns: 1. Packaging issue - I was unable to open the saws when they arrived. One of the adjustable legs slipped off during transport, preventing me from pulling the legs out. Later I found loose parts at the bottom of the box. It turned out that the bracket had fallen off. This bracket prevents the legs from "self-adjusting" when the horses are stowed. I also found a rivet that broke. I was able to reattach the bracket and put a metal screw in where the rivet came out. I worked with a couple of screwdrivers and finally got the leg out without breaking anything. Fiddly - a bit difficult to open and close the legs. You can't just open them, you have to push a button. This is important as you don't want your legs sticking out when carrying it. But the button to open can be a little painful. You may have to move it to get it out. When closing, the legs do not tuck into the horse unless you gently guide them back. Then you have to press that damn button again to get them in. After refueling, make sure the button snaps back into place. so that the legs do not open when lifting. The only way I've been able to do it successfully is to just throw the horse until it snaps back. Before I knew it, the legs opened up and hit my leg as I was carrying it. 3. Spiky Paws - the legs reach a rather sharp point at the bottom. I like putting them in the dirt outside where they have to dig. However, if you're planning on laying on your beautiful hardwood floor while working indoors, you might want to think twice. Sturdy - Aside from my concerns about loose parts and uncomfortable feet, they feel pretty solid. I also love that you can add a couple of 2x4s and a piece of plywood and make a very stable desktop. I wouldn't buy them again but I have no major qualms about returning them. Do a little research and see if they're right for you.
