Review on BoatTector Long Anchor Bungee - Extreme Max 3006.2365 (14'-50') by Christian Poojary

I've read some other reviews complaining about eyelets on the ends coming loose and losing anchors, but ordered anyway as my preferred brand (Anchor Buddy) was not available. When it arrived I took a closer look and the problem was clear: the eyes on both ends weren't properly connected. They are formed by simply taking the end of the fishing line and inserting it back into the middle, creating a loop. Whilst this is part of how you can splice such a line, you will need additional protection to properly secure the connection, e.g. B. Rotate back and forth a few times first to prevent it from slipping off easily when unpowered or after repeated work. Don't use it without properly shaping both grommets, using a proper splice or knot, or maybe adding some zippers around the part where the cord comes back (no guarantee this will work, but better than nothing).
