My bike didn't have solder to attach a standard bottle cage so it's great that it can be attached to the handlebars. The clamp/release mechanism is a little clunky so I put it on top of the handlebars where it stayed because I didn't feel it was worth the effort to move it. It fits nicely in my Apex water bottle. It's also a good holder for my phone when I have it in a big bag. However, the range of the bottle isn't adjustable, so most other beverage bottles (like 16.9-ounce bottled water) are too loose and bounce off it. This is a good product if you always use the same bottle. I've also tried the velcro bottle cage and prefer this one.
