First, Waveshare has quality control issue. I bought one of these kits and when I opened it up the HDMI touchscreen power relay was defective. I returned the kit and they sent me a replacement in a box covered in syrup, possibly honey. Those who pack these sets are more likely to eat lunch or dessert instead. The main problem, however, is that this package really isn't worth the extra cost. Nano is what you need. The box is pretty well made, but it's quite bulky, and the power and reset buttons just don't work. In desktop mode, you can't turn off the device unless you press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds, and the reset button does absolutely nothing (at least in desktop mode). When you turn off the Ubuntu desktop, something also changes on the nano board and you can no longer turn it on with the power button. You have to open the box, remove and replace the power jumper, and then plug it back in. As other reviewers have pointed out, the touchscreen display is poor quality and unresponsive. Also, these are bare bones with no case or protective sleeve - so not really useless unless you buy a case or holder or 3D print (TIP: If you go for the latter, avoid Creality brand printers. See mine other review). In principle this is a good idea, but Waveshare does not thoroughly test its products before releasing them. It was marked as "B01" compliant, but clearly not at all. They provide in-box instructions for the A02 and B01 which are absolutely identical from start to finish, which should tell you a thing or two about their quality control process. Get yourself a Jetson Nano, but don't pay extra for these add-ons. . They don't work and don't add value, even if they worked.
