Review on Motorad MGC 791 Locking Fuel Cap by Mark Hobbs

Bought for my 2016 Tacoma to replace the factory gas cap. This cover fits the truck and provides a secure closure. The problem, however, is that in the two weeks I've had the cap, I got four Check Engine DTCs that I had to reset. Each code indicates that the gas cap is not installed properly. Every time I get a code, I check to make sure the lid is tight, which it always is. During this time I only filled up the car once. I had a different brand gas cap on my previous Tacoma for 10 years and never had a DTC with that brand cap. I ordered a cap from this brand to replace this one.
