I used to be a fan of OXO pans. They get heavy use in my house and the price was good enough that I was able to replace them every few years. When my 25 year old Circulon pans lost their non-stick properties, I decided to see if OXO had a pot/pan set. I was scared at first because they are a bit different in shape and capacity to some of my old pans. I ended up liking them so much that I bought a second set. From time to time they are sold at a good price - I bought both sets for about half the price. It's been over a year now and I'm still very satisfied. I only kept one of the old pots and that was so I could use the metal steamer basket to boil hard boiled eggs. I don't have to worry about scratching it - it's already there. I love everything about OXO. Love the glass lids, the ease of cleaning, the way they can be stacked or stacked, whatever you desire for your space, the lids are easily interchangeable. very very happy with it.
