I bought this to build a freestyle recumbent and it worked great. Recumbents are notoriously difficult to mount on regular work stands, but with this stand all I had to do was clip the front or rear thru-axle into the clamp and rest the main frame tube on the rubber mount. It would be better if the beam could be tilted to level the bike. The front wheel clamp is a bit big and slow. It's heavy and stable, and it folds into a neat, but somewhat large, package. This will be my stand for any major work like bottom bracket and rebuilds, but I will be using a stand and tire clamp style setup.
