Review on πŸš€ K&N 57-3035 Cold Air Intake Kit: Performance Boost for 2001-2004 Chevy Corvette 5.7L V8 by Adam Walsh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's worth upgrading!

If it weren't for the significant increase in performance from my 2002 Vette, I would rate this product significantly lower due to the lengthy build process. The guide tries to guide you step by step with almost useless photos but then skips some steps. Maybe you think you've done this before and are therefore familiar with the installation? It would help explain WHY some steps have been taken to make it easier for you to read between the lines. Once the radiator shroud mod was complete, it was a breeze. All parts are perfectly and precisely assembled. However, one part - the "hose repair" - was the wrong size and shape for my application and required a trip to Home Depot to get the correct $2.00 part. Allow enough time for this project - maybe 5 hours? I needed 8.5 including a trip to Home Depot. I read somewhere that this is the hardest K&N setup ever. Take your time and the end result will amaze you in both looks and performance!

Pros
  • Quality build
Cons
  • There are problems
