Makes installation more difficult than a much cheaper installation

Seems to get the job done. Trimming of the housing is necessary to ensure airflow throughout the filter. Makes installation more difficult than installing like the much cheaper valance.

K&N FIPK C5 Corvette

I installed this product on my 2002 Corvette and it gave it lots of low end torque. The product works great, the instructions for cutting the heatsink to make the cap were difficult to follow in my opinion. A bit more detailed instructions and I would have installed the product in about 2 hours.

Keith is great. Installation is not easy

Received quickly and in perfect condition as usual. I had read some reviews that the instructions could be a bit vague so I was prepared. If someone is inexperienced working under the hood, installation can be a daunting task. There may be a simple "disable auxiliary wiring port". but if you do not know how to disconnect these connectors which are made in such a way that they will not be accidentally disconnected. even that can be difficult. It's worth upgrading!

If it weren't for the significant increase in performance from my 2002 Vette, I would rate this product significantly lower due to the lengthy build process. The guide tries to guide you step by step with almost useless photos but then skips some steps. Maybe you think you've done this before and are therefore familiar with the installation? It would help explain WHY some steps have been taken to make it easier for you to read between the lines. Once the radiator shroud mod was complete, it was
