I bought this a few months ago as a 'just in case' tool. I had a 5 gallon can of gas that was out of date so I figured it would be a good idea to try. I lifted the canister off my ladder rack using my seat belt. I barely inserted the hose into the gas tank, the hose is so wide but it fit. I moved the brass end of the hose up and down in the gas, but no gas flowed through the hose. I've tried shaking fast and moving slowly to no avail. The bullet lodged in the brass end and locked it. I tapped it a few times and tried a few more times. Just bad technique that doesn't work. The concept might be solid, but this production is so flawed that it just doesn't work.
