Really unique and amazing product. The hose is strong, thick and well built. The inside diameter is about an inch and lets a lot of fuel through. I use it to fuel my boat and it works great! However, starting the siphon takes some getting used to. Sometimes you have to pull it up and twist it hard to quickly start the siphon and get the air out of it. I was really hoping this would work. I bought this a few months ago as a 'just in case' tool. I had a 5 gallon can of gas that was out of date so I figured it would be a good idea to try. First impressions were pretty bad. Came tightly wrapped as others have mentioned but I managed to smooth it out with hot water. On examination it can be seen that the plastic pipe was apparently heated to its melting point very quickly and the copper fitting was pressed in with no other mechanical means to hold it to the pipe.
