I have a Volkswagen Golf 6. After approximately 15,000 kilometers on the tread, the ContiPremiumContact 5 195/65/15 tires are a tad bit quieter than the stock EcoContact 3 tires from the Czech Republic that are the same size. - I paid close attention to the difference in volume between the two recordings made by the DVR along the same path. However, the miracle did not occur; I had anticipated that there would be an even greater lack of sound. However, even on uneven surface, the tires do not produce any audible noise. - As regards coziness, these tires are precisely the same level of suppleness as its predecessor, the EcoContact 3, the only difference being that the sidewalls of the earlier tires are more robust. I really hope these new tires will last for a very long time. Again, do not anticipate miracles; there is no particular softness; everything about the EcoContact 3 and Nokian R2 winter stickies is precisely the same. - Everything is in order in terms of handling; grip is superb, and it steers quite well; yet, this is still the Volkswagen Golf's strong suit.
