Review on Enhanced TUOSHI Unlocked Slot 300Mbps Router: Boosted Hotspot Support! by Anthony Bandzz

Distributed the Internet to the whole class!

I have another modem that I use when I travel to teach computer training seminars. But luckily I checked before my trip to Papua New Guinea and found that they use a different LTE frequency (B28) which is not supported by my Huawei modem. PANIC! I ordered this Tuoshi with 4 antennas just 36 hours before my trip and it arrived on time. To be honest I wasn't happy with this purchase as it only had 3 stars in the reviews. But I had no choice as it was the only model that was delivered the next day. I arrived in Port Moresby and was given a BMobile and a Digicell chip, loaded them up with 30GB and 50GB of data respectively and then flew to my destination. . We used this modem continuously for a whole week, with 18 participants in the room (pictured). It says it can handle 32 connections. I just logged in and I see 35 devices that have an address via DHCP. I guess we never hit the limit because there were always a few people missing from the class, but I can confirm that it can definitely handle 32 connections. Everyone has a computer and a phone, and some have tablets. All week, not a single one complained about not being able to get online! At the end of the seminar I thought it would be a shame to leave this remote area and take the modem with me, so I offered it at its price and it was sold within minutes of my announcement. This modem has one downside and that is the web interface. The only way to check my data balance was to: - remove the chip - remove the tape holding the nanochip in the microchip - insert the nanochip into my phone - send a code to check the balance and top up if necessary - Remove the chip from my phone - Put the chip back in the micro holder and glue it back - Put it back in the modem. As far as I could tell, I had no way of checking my balance online, but that's also the fault of the provider: Digicel. Every time I tried their website wouldn't work and I was never able to set up an account and manage my settings.
