Shelves for spices of fairly good quality in terms of value for money. It appears to be a welded bulk wire that is powder coated black. The frames are connected with the supplied parts, but the assembly is tedious and the quality is not perfect; However, I believe the overall product is good value. The metal is soft low carbon steel so I used red Loctite on the screws to hold them in place. Some of the threaded holes were difficult to screw in, so be very careful not to cut the threads. DO NOT use a cordless screwdriver or you will strip all the threads. The glass bottles are quite high quality and the plastic lids are much better than regular spice racks. The lids are aluminum and untreated so they will come off if they get wet. Wash them with vinegar and hand dry them to clean them. Note: DO NOT WASH ALUMINUM IN THE DISHWASHER as it is highly corrosive. Bottles are machine washable. Labels of high quality and in large quantities. There are spice labels that we have never used, so my wife looks forward to trying new spices. There are a couple of items we used handwritten labels on and the included pen worked well. The silicone funnel is comfortable to the touch and durable enough to store for future use. The supplied mounting screws surprised me. They are made of high quality stainless steel and have worked very well. I particularly like how the rack design uses multiple mounting points on the wall. The set block is solid enough that a heavy shoulder smack won't hurt. Overall the racks were securely packaged, fairly easy to assemble and can be installed by the average handyman. Would buy again. So I did. There is 1 downside. The quality control isn't top notch, and the jigs used to hold the welding wire don't have to be perfect, so wire baskets have a little variation in shape, but nothing major. One of the threaded mounts was welded upside down so I just put it on the top tier where it isn't attached to another basket. never mind With this set you get more than you pay for. so water under the bridge.
