Review on Bell Automotive Ash Tray with Solar 🚬 Powered Lighting - Keep Your Car Clean and Stylish! by Jerardo Phi

Exactly what I needed!

Continuation: After about six months it started to rust where the paint had chipped off. Chipping was definitely an issue for the user as they tapped the edge of the basket too hard to remove it. When rust became a problem and left marks on my desk, I bought it again. Unfortunately the light never worked on the second but it was just a convenience for me and honestly not worth the hassle of getting it back. I'm more careful when emptying and I'm not chipping the paint yet. HOWEVER, I will note that this isn't really intended or advertised for outdoor use, so I'm not knocking a cheap painted metal container down for rust. However, if you use it outdoors and are exposed to the elements, don't be surprised if it starts to rust. Avoid chipped paint and this will help. I still think it's waterproof and that its price is reasonable, worth replacing a couple of times a year. ------ I actually use it in my garden where it solves a number of small but annoying problems! I live in South Florida where it rains quite a bit. I chose it because it closes and keeps ashes and cigarette butts dry and also keeps out the smell of a dirty ashtray. It also prevents ashes from being scattered, and the black table it stands on is not covered with ashes. The light is a nice bonus and I can sit outside at night without all the lights on and look up at the night sky and still find an ashtray! It's not the most elegant piece, but I have a black one that sits on my aforementioned black desk so it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, which is fine with me. I can't confirm the longevity of the light as it's only used a few times at night for a few minutes. Brightness wise it hits the perfect balance for me of enough light to see where I'm aiming without being a beacon! Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
