Review update: These shoes are not wide at all. On closer inspection and according to my 3 year old they are too tight around the foot unlike all her other shoes. move and develop properly. The shoes of this brand are very narrow. My 3 year old can't even fit in a normal size unless he's a half or a full size too big. She has better luck with the big sizes. This time we bought the XW size and they are still not very wide. We have shoes from other brands, which are usually larger. However, she likes them and says they are XW and comfortable. She just can't use her as much as she will grow her sooner than other brands of the same size.
