Great camera and great picture quality. It took me a little time to get the job done because the instructions are terrible and I'm not a mechanic. If you have a 430n radio with navigation, follow these steps after purchasing your camera to save time and money. 1. Before installation, you need to turn on the radio to detect the camera. Most people go to a dealer, but the dealers don't know, don't want to, or charge a lot of money for it. I bought a Vgate icar pro obdII diagnostic tool (also available from Amazon) and a JScan app license for my JK. 2. Mount the rear view camera, route the video cable on the passenger side, and connect the power supply (red and black wires) to the backlight cables. Find out which ones are correct. In my case they were white with a purple stripe and black. I have attached an image. You must remove the passenger taillight to be on the safe side, as the wire color may change near the taillight. 3. Install the video connector to the radio connector and connect both video cables (one to the camera and one to the connector with the red wire). BTW, you don't use that connected red wire, you just isolate it. Your camera should work perfectly. I learned from my own experience but saved money. I ended up getting a good camera installed for less than 150. Most cameras for jks cost around 400 without installation. Dealer charges 800.
