Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Tombow 56171 Dual Brush Pen Art Markers Review: Grayscale, 10-Pack Blendable, Brush and Fine Tip Markers by Renee Foreman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nice non bleed smooth solubility in water is a good set of cool greys, wish it had more than 1 warm grey.

Pros: I love working with water-soluble markers and they're on par with other brands like Koi, Fabrr-Castell, Copic, Artist Choice and PrismaColour. Even on fluffy lined paper, they don't show through, they're smooth and painterly when applied with a wet brush. I smudged some of the work done the first night with this set + 2 wet W/K brushes (#2). thick, IMO) and the brush tip, on the other hand, has a nice tip with a bit of curvature. Rigid on the tip side and long on the brush side. The handles are longer than average so they can get heavy. The cap fits in the back on one side and not on the other. I've included photos of color swatches for each marker, each color with water, and each color with a blending pen. Oh, and the blender stick tip isn't dirty yet. I hate keeping it clean. Good grip with excellent blendability. At the bottom of the sample page I've made a color comparison with Koi, FAberCastel, etc. (see photo) Cons: only one warm gray, and this is warm gray 1. Of all the colors, I prefer the lightest tones. , but I would think that in this set there will not only be cool grays, 2 blacks, a blender and just a warm gray. So I wouldn't call it a full 'palette', but it is a fairly full, almost full 'cool gray palette'.
