I bought these to help with my recent move from Vermont to Massachusetts. I have a 2007 GMC Sierra with a 6 1/2 foot bed and they have worked fine. The two rings are really important and actually nothing more than a set of long elastic cords with two rings. but they are very useful. If I had a full 8ft platform they would be even more useful as they are really set up to work with trucks with 6 mounting points instead of the 4 I have. However, you can double them up and use them that way. The only issue I had was one of the cords snapped off the hook during use. Needless to say, this caused some problems. One more thing, the clasps are pretty flimsy and won't work for long. When all you need is something simple to hold the tarp in place, this is what you need. But really, if you can find a metal ring and your own bungee, you don't need it.
