This thing saved me from having to buy an international plan from my cell phone provider. Used in the Philippines, where Pocket Wi-Fi is the main source of internet access across the country. Worked as advertised as long as I had cellular signal and was able to text, make Wi-Fi calls, and use apps. The device does get warm after around 30 minutes of use, but this doesn't seem to affect performance. As with phones it can be difficult to find better signal and eventually actually climb a tree to get 4 bars of 4G lol. No regrets here, this was a great purchase.
