Your phone's SIM card is not working, you need a specially configured SIM card for your mobile WiFi hotspot.

Device does not recognize T-Mobile SIM card. So the Huawei app was also useless. I wasted my time setting everything up differently. I watched various videos on YouTube, nothing worked. T-Mobile does not provide you with a Mobile Hotspot SIM card for free, you must purchase their Mobile Hotspot WiFi plan. Your phone's SIM card is not working, you need a specially configured SIM card for your mobile WiFi hotspot.

No regrets here

This thing saved me from having to buy an international plan from my cell phone provider. Used in the Philippines, where Pocket Wi-Fi is the main source of internet access across the country. Worked as advertised as long as I had cellular signal and was able to text, make Wi-Fi calls, and use apps. The device does get warm after around 30 minutes of use, but this doesn't seem to affect performance. Worked well for a trip to Egypt

After renting such a device for a trip to Europe I decided to buy it for my upcoming trip to Egypt as the device is priced at $85 compared to almost even paying for rental costs after a ride. I bought a SIM card from the Orange kiosk in baggage claim at Cairo airport. In general, the device worked well. Terrible instructions, but here's an 'idiot's guide' to get you started.

I bought this to use my iPhone in France and to save my US phone number over WIFI calls. And avoid Verizon's $10/day international service fee. And it works. Like I said, the battery doesn't last long. I will buy a portable charger to keep it running longer than 4-5 hours. And it took me a while to figure out how to start.
