Overall a great product, happy so far!

As far as I can tell at this point the build quality is excellent, the weight is very decent but not heavy. Charging is great - it can easily handle iPad, iPhone and vape battery at the same time. Connecting and charging during data transfer was no problem. The speed is definitely high in the data tests I tried. The chip inside must be well designed because daisy chaining a USB 2.0 hub with peripherals will not slow down the data transfer rate. The USB ports are well spaced making it easy to fit my bulky USB keys unlike many other hubs I've used. As mentioned, the backlight is very bright, making it easy to see which ports are active - great. The backlight is bright enough in the dark. Separate switches for each port are a really nice feature too, and the buttons feel solid and premium when pressed. Another great thing about buttons is that they don't turn off instantly; They require a long press to turn them off, which helps reduce the number of accidental shutdowns, unlike other hubs I've used. Supplied in a plain box so there is little or no packaging waste which is environmentally friendly. It's a little bulky on a desk, but that's ok; I'd rather have the extra space available at the ports. I don't like that the USB cable is connected to the device as it is also short and cannot be replaced with a longer one. Another downside is that the power cord is quite short and the bulky transformer is not ideal for use with an extension cord. However, these small issues are not an obstacle for me and overall I am very happy with it. 4.5 stars!
