Great heater with a few small quirks.
Heater works very well once you understand two things. First, this heater is only good at 10 degrees above the air temperature in your home. Second, make sure you place this next to your filter. This allows water to flow through so it works optimally. Application Tips: Be sure to fully immerse the heater in the tank and move it back and forth to ensure the air trapped in the ventilated area is expelled. 1-2 degrees below the temperature in about the first week. Be sure to use an optional thermometer for more accurate testing.
