Saltwater won't rust these
Some of these have been used on our skis for fixing in saltwater. No sign of corrosion for several months. Most often they are washed off at the end of the day, and sometimes they lie for a week before taking another salt bath. There has to be something in 300 series stainless steel to handle it.
