This product is a great idea and the adapter that came with it is perfect for the solar panel but it didn't work for my application. This would work if it was on the other side of my house where the sun is coming from, but on the side away from the sun you can't tilt the solar panel towards the sun as the panel will hit the gutter and roof. The part where the solar panel is attached is made of plastic and can be moved from side to side depending on the assembly. I had to mount it from the top, so I took out the four screws holding it in place and moved it up. The problem was that the plastic was too soft and two screws ripped off the plastic. One star for reliability, otherwise I would have given 3.
