Do that! Body Care

I've succumbed to my quarantine urge to do something "crazy" for too long and have decided to get a second earlobe piercing. I took the opportunity to buy these homemade earplugs and I am very satisfied! I've never done anything like this before, but I'm so glad I did, so let me tell you a little bit about it if you're in the same boat. placement etc. I ended up measuring a point 1cm behind my first earlobe piercing and 0.5cm from the bottom edge of the earlobe if that makes sense. You should be able to see what it looks like right in your own ear (or whatever part of your body you're piercing on). I also checked the angle of my first piercing to make sure the second piercing has the same angle (in other words, if I wear two hoop earrings, for example, they don't point in two different directions). The ear gun was sealed and came with alcohol wipes. I put a dot on my ear where I wanted, wiped my earlobe with an alcohol swab, checked that the dot was visible, and handed the ear gun to my husband. He aligned the tip of the earring with the dot on my earlobe and squared it with my ear (I asked him to try and square it straight). He squeezed it just enough to "seize" my earlobe, and then when I said "go," he squeezed it. .One thing to note is that once you press the earmuff all the way down, some of it will fall apart! It is in order. Pushing through a piercing (earlobe definitely) doesn't require much effort and doesn't hurt at all. I have not used any painkillers or an ice cube before either. After about ten minutes my ears started to hurt a little and this lasted about fifteen minutes. Since then they haven't hurt! It's been four weeks since I got my piercings and they are doing great! Every day, morning and night, I hold a paper towel to my ear and spray a small amount of saline wound spray onto the piercing. So far no problems! I plan on doing a saline rinse for another two weeks, following the advice of professional piercers. I highly recommend it! If you're hesitant about DIY piercings, I'd say put them on and get it done! :)
