Review on 🔒 Stant 10508 Locking Fuel Cap - Enhanced SEO by William Bell

I bought this cap for my Nissan Frontier Truck after the OEM lid tether broke and I decided I wanted to secure the cap as I don't have a latch on the fuel filler door. If this cap also had a lanyard or some other way to secure it when filling the tank it would be even better, but if I leave my keys in the cap when I fill up I don't forget it when I leave. UPDATE after a few years of use: The keyhole is a little "uncomfortable" so I sometimes have trouble inserting the key. However, it never worked when I inserted the key. I'm tempted to lower the star rating a bit but I still think it's not bad for the price. I'm sure the lock isn't exactly "high security" but I've never tried picking or picking it, so I can't tell you from personal experience. If you want a better lock, look for a more expensive cap. But this one has worked as well as I could expect for the price I paid so I'm keeping the 5 star rating.
