Review on πŸ’Ύ 2-Port M.2 B-Key to SATA Converter with 1-Port M.2 M-Key PCI-e x4 Expansion Card by Temarquis Lopez

Useless without printed or web-based manuals or guides

After reading Revain's reviews, I thought it would be safe to buy the SI-PEX40124. When I received it I connected 3 M.2 card slots per adapter. 2 on one side and 1 on the back. Plugged into a free PCIe slot. Worked on my HP z420 workstation with Windows 10 1909. The computer started up absolutely fine, but when I checked Disk Manager I was surprised I couldn't see any of the three 256GB M.2 drives. I've searched all over the internet for manuals, guides and youtube to find everything. I could find absolutely no information about this adapter that shows it works at all. Where are the manuals and instructions that who collected how? What are the two SATA connectors on the end of the adapter for? I really don't want to return it to Revain, but I'm not paying for a doorstop either. Many Thanks,

Pros
  • Connects PCIe motherboard with NGFF M SSD key
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
