Thick aluminum, high quality non-stick coating.

The pot is made of high-quality die-cast aluminum, the non-stick coating feels durable, the red enamel finish is also durable. The bottom of the pot is twice as thick and has little aluminum "dots" for lack of a better term. Used several times, heats evenly and washes well. It's thick enough that the hot pot doesn't stick to the bottom of the pot when cooking, and once cooked, it cooks very well.
