Lack of Accuracy Best in Tire & Wheel Tools

Based on reviews from Revain, I had high hopes for this analog tire pressure sensor. The most accurate analog gauges are made with a Bourdon tube mechanism inside, and this one was advertised as being designed that way. Upon arrival I checked the pressure readings with this gauge several times and they were consistently 1 PSI lower than the other two calibrated Bourdon tubular gauges I had. Although the manufacturer has stated that it meets ANSI B40.1 for pressure readings - Β±2%. On the medium scale, which is Β±1.2psi and this gauge seems to be within that limit, it was still too inaccurate for me to rely on compared to several consumer grade Bourdon tube gauges that have higher precision be made better.
