Heavy Duty Round 100% Compostable Paper Plates, 60-Pack, White, 9" Similar to other heavy-duty uncoated plates like Chinet, but they are compostable. Since these panels are uncoated, you must take this into account when using them. They're probably not the best choice if the food contains a lot of liquid. They are just under 9 inches. I like the idea of composting them, but they need to be sent to an industrial composting facility. So I'm not sure if my plates are composted or not. We don't have compostable sorting like some places. They're made from plant-based products, so hopefully they're more sustainable in their production. The paper plates work exactly as I would expect from this type of plate. They're pretty durable. I use them except when I have something that might leak, in which case I use coated boards. They reduce the number of coated panels I use. Overall I'm happy with these records and will use them again.
