If you think you got the right product, think again. Mazda hasn't used a gasket since 2014, at least not a Mazda 6. There's no entrance/place for it. Use silicone instead. Although at first glance it seems like a gasket is needed and the size is perfect, once you tighten the built in PanFilter it slips out, whether that's a good thing or not I don't know. This is not an original Mazda. hope it lasts Next time I'll use Mazda's original filter and approved silicone.
