Filter processed. The seal broke as soon as I put the tub back in place, didn't notice until I filled the tub with new liquid. I do not recommend using a pad.

Looks just like OEM and works just as well. It comes with a rubber seal so you can throw those "liquid seal" tubes in the trash.

Mazda 3 2012 Skyactiv 2.0 fits perfectly, very good quality parts. Advice. When removing the old gasket from the pallet try not to use gasket remover spray as my paint will rise off the pallet and wash off. Use it sparingly. :)

Mazda CX5 2016. The factory uses sealant on the transmission oil pan so you will need to clean it before using this kit's gasket. Everything is bolted and the washer is a malleable plastic that conforms to any bumps. Change it as soon as it gets dark. There is a dipstick, so checking the condition of the liquid is not difficult.

Installed the gasket and filter/strainer perfectly and filled the gearbox with new original oil from the dealer. Checked for leaks a week later, then a month later and 3 months later there were no leaks. But now, after about 8 months, it flows through the seal with warm liquid. The quality of the rubber seal is not very good. Tightened the screws again but it still leaks. I regret not having used RTV to make the gasket.

If you think you got the right product, think again. Mazda hasn't used a gasket since 2014, at least not a Mazda 6. There's no entrance/place for it. Use silicone instead. Although at first glance it seems like a gasket is needed and the size is perfect, once you tighten the built in PanFilter it slips out, whether that's a good thing or not I don't know. This is not an original Mazda. hope it lasts Next time I'll use Mazda's original filter and approved silicone.

I paid a little more for a Beckarnley kit than a Mazda filter hoping the gasket would work and be less messy than using a silicone gasket maker. Not so, the gasket didn't fit, and with a gradual, even and accurate tightening of all the bolts, the gasket pushed out the front of the pallet in two places. Luckily I noticed the problem before filling. I do not recommend using a pad. Go shopping and buy a cheaper filter, be it Beckarnly or Mazda. -- 2016 CX-5
