Doesn't work: Data storage

Arrived poorly packaged, just in a plastic bag in a padded envelope. When installed vertically (usually) the adapter sags and is not recognized by my computer. Didn't work for me and I wouldn't recommend it. Edit - looks like my SSD died somewhere while transferring to this adapter. Still not happy with fit or packaging but I don't think this adapter killed the SSD.
