Used fuel line does not meet fuel requirements and bursts in tank

I am stranded a week after 900 miles from home. A "rubber" fuel line used between the fuel pump and the top plate of the assembly. not designed for gasoline or high pressure. After installation, the fuel line in the tank will burst and must be removed and replaced with a suitable line. I recommend doing this before installing, otherwise everything else will work.
