Great idea, not so good on use.
These are a great idea, but have a flaw. We have an Intek pool with the attachable skimmer basket. These socks, when applied to the basket, tend to encourage the debris to flow over the top of the basket and directly into the filter. If they are placed directly on the skimmer float, they suck to the filter intake and reduce the flow substantially. It's a great idea but so far I can't find a way to make them practical
- Removes even the tiniest debris from the water
- The socks can become too stiff and difficult to remove from the skimmer
